Zhejiang Province-based Chinese steelmaker Zhenshi Group Eastern Special Steel Co. has announced that its stainless steel annealing and pickling production line project has been completed and commissioned. The production line has a designed annual capacity of 600,000 mt.
Work began on the project on May 23, 2010. A successful hot trial run was carried out on September 18 this year, while commissioning took place on November 8.
