Zaporizhstal’s crude steel production rises by 18 percent in January-April

In the January-April period of the current year, crude steel production of Ukrainian steelmaker Zaporizhstal increased by 18 percent year on year, reaching 1.255 million mt.
 
In the given period, Zaporizhstal saw a six percent increase in its pig iron production to 960,000 mt and an 18 percent increase in its finished steel production to 1.041 million mt. In January-April, Zaporizhstal produced 1.741 million mt of agglomerate, up 11 percent year on year.
