In July this year, Ukrainian steelmaker Zaporizhstal's finished steel product output increased by 19.3 percent year on year to 294,300 mt, its pig iron production went up by 17.5 percent to 306,400 mt, while its crude steel production rose by 17.5 percent year on year to 334,000 mt, according to the company's results.
Meanwhile, in the January-July period, Zaporizhstal saw a 5.46 percent year-on-year decrease in its finished steel product output to 1.87 million mt, while its crude steel production decreased by 1.98 percent year on year to 2.22 million mt and its pig iron output totaled 1.97 million mt, down 6.3 percent year on year.
