Zaporizhstal’s crude steel output up 1.5 percent in February

In February this year, Ukrainian steelmaker Zaporizhstal's finished steel product output increased by 0.4 percent year on year to 264,800 mt, its pig iron production moved up by 13.5 percent to 279,000 mt, while its crude steel production increased by 1.5 percent year on year to 294,800 mt, according to the company's preliminary results.

In the January-February period, Zaporizhstal saw a 1.4 percent year-on-year rise in its finished steel product output to 563,700 mt, while its crude steel production rose by 2.1 percent year on year to 640,800 mt.
