Zaporizhstal’s crude steel output up 1.35 percent in September

In September this year, Ukrainian steelmaker Zaporizhstal's finished steel product output increased by 0.31 percent year on year to 291,400 mt, its pig iron production went up by 13 percent to 382,200 mt, while its crude steel production rose by 1.35 percent year on year to 350,900 mt, according to the company's results.

Meanwhile, in the January-September period, Zaporizhstal saw a 3.2 percent year-on-year decrease in its finished steel product output to 2.46 million mt, while its crude steel production decreased by 0.32 percent year on year to 2.93 million mt and its pig iron output totaled 2.74 million mt, down 0.12 percent year on year.
