Zaporizhstal’s crude steel output down 15.5 percent in May

In May this year, Ukrainian steelmaker Zaporizhstal's finished steel product output decreased by 9.2 percent to 250,000 mt, while its crude steel production declined by 15.5 percent to 279,700 mt, both year on year, according to the company's preliminary results.

In addition, in the given month Zaporizhstal saw a 16.3 percent year-on-year decline in its pig iron output to 230,300 mt.
