Yingkou hikes settlement prices for December

SteelOrbis Shanghai On December 26, Yingkou Steel the major plate mill in Shanghai region, announced the settlement prices for December sales. Accordingly, the settlement price of 12 mm plate increased RMB 150/mt ($19) to RMB 3,700/mt ($473), that of 14-25 mm common carbon plate increased RMB 100/mt ($13) to RMB 3,650/mt ($467), compared to the ex-factory prices announced in the beginning of the month. Settlement prices are the actual prices to be paid by the traders for their purchases in December, which vary from the ex-factory price according to the market situation during the month.
