Yanshan mine produces 263,700 mt of iron ore concentrate in Jan-Feb

Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group has announced that its Yanshan iron ore mine produced 263,700 mt of iron ore concentrate in the January-February period of the current year, exceeding the target for the given period by 23,700 mt. The cost of iron ore concentrate production was RMB 7.73/mt lower than expected in the period in question.

Meanwhile, in February Hebei Steel Group's subsidiary Chengde Steel signed an agreement to supply steel for the construction of the Ross Locke Financial Center in Tianjin. The first batch amounting to 225 mt of 50 mm diameter HRB 400E rebar has already been delivered. The total height of this skyscraper located in Binhai New Area in Tianjin is expected to reach 600 m.
