Yangzhou Taifu commissions 3 million mt pellet production line

Chinese company Yangzhou Taifu Special Material Co. has commissioned the first production line of its iron ore pellet production project, according to local media reports. The annual output capacity of the first production line is 3 million mt, while the overall capacity of the project will total 6 million mt when the second production line is commissioned.

The project is based in Jiangdu Economic Development Zone in the city of Yangzhou in China's Jiangsu Province. Zhongxin Heavy Machinery Co. is responsible for the construction work, which commenced on April 26, 2011. The second production line is currently in its testing phase.
