Xugang Group to build 10 million mt capacity steel production facility

Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province-based Chinese steel producer Xugang Iron and Steel Group has announced that it plans to construct steelmaking facilities with a blast furnace of over 4,000 m3 capacity, and also including converters, a rolling line and a sintering line. The new facilities will have a total annual steel production capacity of 10 million mt.

After construction of the new facilities, Xugang will then focus on product structure adjustment and on shifting its production focus from common steel grades to special steel.
