Xinyu Steel Group achieves operating revenue of RMB 42 billion in 2014

Jiangxi Province-based Chinese steelmaker Xinyu Iron and Steel Group Co. has announced that in 2014 the group’s pig iron, crude steel and finished steel outputs amounted to 9.0872 million mt, 8.8225 million mt and 8.119 million mt, up 4.9 percent, 3.38 percent and 3.95 percent year on year. In addition, in 2014 the steel producer achieved an operating revenue of RMB 42.057 billion ($6.78 billion), with a net profit of RMB 160 million ($25.8 million), increasing by RMB 140 million year on year. In 2014, Xinyu Steel Group exported 1.4166 million mt of finished steel, up 53.34 percent year on year. 

As for 2015, Xinyu Steel Group plans to produce 8.98 million mt of pig iron, 8.715 million mt of crude steel and 8.466 million mt of finished steel, while it is targeting an operating revenue of RMB 41 billion ($6.6 billion) and a net profit of RMB 200 million ($32.26 million).
