Xinyang Steel to build three 1250 cubic meters blast furnaces

Henan Province-based Xinyang Iron and Steel plans to build three 1,250 cubic meters blast furnaces by replacing current two 300 cubic meters ferromanganese blast furnaces and four 600 cubic meters iron-smelting blast furnaces, as announced by Xinyang government in its Steel Industry Transformation and Development Action Plan (2018-2020).

By the year of 2020, Xinyang Steel will form an annual iron-smelting capacity of 3.45 million mt.

Meanwhile, by the year of 2020, Xinyang Steel will have the annual capacity of 2.4 million mt of steel strip and 1.2 million mt of rebar and wire rod.
