On April 4, Jiangsu Province-based Wuxi NewDaZhong Steel released April 2007 ex-factory prices for HDG and color coated, making a downward adjustment for both products. The details are as follows:
The producer's ex-factory price of HDG decreased RMB 100-250/mt ($13-32/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 0.5 mm thick HDG is RMB 6,350/mt ($823/mt), while that of 1.0 mm thick HDG is RMB 5,850/mt ($758/mt).
The ex-factory price of color coated coil decreased RMB 150-250/mt ($19-32/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 0.4 mm thick color coated coil is RMB 7,530/mt ($975/mt), while that of 0.47 mm thick color coated coil is RMB 7,130/mt ($924/mt).
All the above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of April 4, 2007.
