Wuhu Xinxing Pipes commission its coke oven No. 1

On February 25, Anhui Province-based Chinese steel pipe producer Wuhu Xinxing Pipes Co., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chinese pipe maker Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes Co., commissioned its coke oven No. 1, as announced by stated-owned China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC). Construction work on the project was carried out by MMC subsidiary Hubei-based China First Metallurgical Group.
 
The coking chamber of the new coke oven is six meters high and has 58 charging holes, while the annual output capacity of the oven is 1.2 million mt.
