WISCO’s CSP plant develops ultra-thin structural steel sheet

Hubei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel Co.'s (WISCO) cast steel plate (CSP) plant has completed a successful trial test for production of 1.25 mm high strength ultra-thin structural steel sheet, thereby expanding its product range.
 
Previously, 1.2 mm high strength container steel had been successfully tested at WISCO's CSP plant. The samples in question were delivered to customers in August
