WISCO supplies X70 welded pipe for project in Papua New Guinea

On December 12, Hubei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Co. (WISCO) has announced that its 18 mm X70 grade high-frequency straight-slit welded pipe for application in slurry transportation has reached advanced international standards for the given product.

WISCO is the only supplier of the product in question for an ore pulp transportation project in Papua New Guinea, with its sales revenues from supplies of the product to the project reaching RMB 50 million ($8.17 million).
