WISCO sets up trading subsidiary in South Korea

Hubei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corp. (WISCO) has announced that its representative office in South Korea, which had been established in June 2009, has been upgraded to subsidiary status and is now called WISCO (Korea) Trade Co. Ltd. The new company thus becomes the 11th overseas subsidiary of WISCO. South Korea is an important export destination for WISCO’s products.
 
WISCO (Korea) Trade Co. Ltd. is expected to contribute to WISCO’s trading of finished steel exports, raw materials and equipment, and to help its expansion in the Korean and Asian markets.
