WCI Steel files for bankruptcy
WCI Steel which is an integrated steel producer located in Northeast Ohio, filed a voluntary petition for protection under Chapter 11 of the US Bankruptcy Court. However, the company mentioned that the restructuring will continue under court protection and WCI will maintain normal operations during the process. WCI produces flat rolled for steel service centers, convertors, electrical equipment producers and also automotive and construction sectors.
