Vinacomin targets coal output of 260 million mt in 2011-15

According to Vietnamese media, local state-owned coal miner Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group (Vinacomin) has recently approved a development plan for the period 2011-15.
 
According to the plan, during the period in question, Vinacomin is aiming to produce 260 million mt of raw coal, yielding 238 million mt of washed coal. It also targets an aggregate sales volume of 240 million mt of coal in the period in question.

As previously reported by SteelOrbis, Vinacomin expects to sell 13.3 million mt of coal in the second quarter of the current year.
