Vedanta Resources reports increase in revenues for H1

Indian miner Vedanta Resources has announced its financial results for the first half ended on September 30 of the financial year 2018.

During the first half of the financial year 2018, Vedanta reported a $327 million loss when compared to 66 million $ net loss recorded in the first half of the previous year, while the company registered revenue of $7.1 billion, rising four percent year on year.

In the given period, the company's EBITDA increased by one percent to $1.7 billion compared to the first half of the previous financial year, while adjusted EBITDA margin fell to 29 percent in H1, from 34 percent in H1 2017.
