Vale lowers iron ore sales estimate for 2019

Brazilian miner Vale has announced that it estimates its iron ore sales volume in 2019 will range between 307 million mt and 332 million mt. The company’s first sales estimate for the current year was 382 million mt.

Vale recently announced an annual production loss of over 90 million mt, due to the dam collapse in Brumadinho in late January this year.
