Uzmetkombinat’s crude steel output up seven percent in Q1

Uzbekistan-based steel producer Uzmetkombinat has announced that in the first quarter of the current year its crude steel output rose by seven percent year on year to 176,600 mt. Meanwhile, its rolled steel product shipments in the given period amounted to 169,800 mt, up 1.5 percent compared to the same period last year.
