Uzmetkombinat’s crude steel output up 0.9 percent in Jan-Sept

Uzbekistan-based steel producer Uzmetkombinat has announced that in the January-September period of the current year its crude steel output rose by 0.9 percent year on year to 580,800 mt. Meanwhile, its rolled steel product shipments in the given period amounted to 559,100 mt, up 0.5 percent compared to the same period last year, including 440,300 mt of longs, up 0.7 percent year on year.
