Uzmetkombinat produces 528,000 mt of crude steel in January-August

In January-August this year Uzbekistan-based steel producer Uzmetkombinat's crude steel output rose by 0.1 percent year on year to 528,200 mt.

In addition, in the first eight months of 2010 Uzmetkombinat registered a 0.2 percent growth in its rolled steel product output to 488,400 mt, including 374,300 mt of longs - up 0.3 percent, both compared to January-August 2009.
