Uzbekistan’s Uzmetkombinat sees slight fall in crude steel output in Jan-July

According to the data issued by Uzbekistan's State Statistics Committee, in January-July this year domestic steel producer Uzmetkombinat saw a slight year-on-year decrease of 0.4 percent in its crude steel output to 447,800 mt.

Meanwhile, during the period in question, Uzmetkombinat's rolled steel product output went down by 1.1 percent to 416,300 mt, including 323,000 mt of longs - down 1.2 percent, both compared to January-July 2009.
