US Steel Corp. said Wednesday that its United Steelworkers-represented employees have ratified new four-year labor contracts.

One agreement covers about 16,000 workers at the company's domestic flat rolled, iron ore mining, and tubular operations, and the second agreement covers about 900 employees at US Steel Tubular Products Inc.'s Texas Operation Division.

The agreements, effective September 1, contain no-strike provisions and expire on September 1, 2012.
