US structural pipe and tube exports rise 0.7 percent in November

According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of structural pipe and tube totaled 13,936 mt in November, up 0.7 percent from October but down 6.1 percent from November 2016 levels. By value, structural pipe and tube exports totaled $16.9 million in November, compared to $17.8 million in the previous month and $15.2 million the same month last year.

The US shipped the most structural pipe and tube to Canada in November with 10,023 mt, compared to 9,629 mt in October and 10,104 mt in November 2016. Other top destinations included Mexico, with 2,898 mt. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) of US export structural pipe and tube in November.
