According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of structural pipe and tube totaled 10,309 mt in June 2019, down 5.5 percent from May and down 42.4 percent from June 2018 levels. By value, structural pipe and tube exports totaled $15.4 million in June, compared to $19.2 million in the previous month and $25.3 million the same month last year.
The US shipped the most structural pipe and tube to Canada in June with 5,057 mt, compared to 4,391 mt in May and 13,326 mt in June 2018. Other top destinations included Mexico, with 4,502 mt. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) for US structural pipe and tube exports in June.
