US rig counts up again, Canadian rigs dip further

According to the most recent report by Baker Hughes, the weekly US rotary rig count is up six from last week to 1,782. This reflects a year-on-year increase of 306 rigs.

The Canadian rig count is down 94 from last week and is now at 191, representing a year-on-year increase of 65 rigs.

The US Offshore rig count is 28, up one from last week and down 26 year-over-year.
