US Manufacturers committee requests a study of S201

According to latest reports, a committee of the US National Association of Manufacturers requested from President Bust to consider the impacts of S201 tariffs on steel consuming industries and mills. However this request needs to be approved by the entire board members of National Association of Manufactures in February. The industry experts expect such request will most probably rejected by the board. The request of the committee includes a panel to discuss the competitiveness challenges faced by all manufacturers in the nation and recommend a plan of action, focusing on issues such as strong dollar, global overcapacity in industries with heavy government intervention, i.e. the basic topics having impacts on the US manufacturing.
