On April 20, the
US International Trade Commission (ITC) announced the court-ordered second remand of its final determination regarding the antidumping duty (AD) investigation No. 731-TA-961 of carbon and certain alloy steel
wire rod from Trinidad and Tobago.
On March 29, 2010, following a decision by the
US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit made in September 2008, the
US Court of International Trade remanded a negative determination by the ITC on the investigation mentioned back to the Commission.
Therefore, the ITC has invited the interested parties to file their new comments for the next proceeding with the Commission no later than May 7, 2010 in order for the institution to make a new determination on whether there should be a determination of material injury or threat of material injury in light of the Federal Circuit decision.
