The US Department of Commerce (DOC) published Monday in the Federal Register the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review of corrosion-resistant steel from Taiwan. The review covered four respondents: Chung Hung Steel Corporation, Prosperity Tieh Enterprise Co. Ltd, Sheng Yu Steel Co., Ltd (SYSCO), and Yieh Phui Enterprise Co., Ltd. (Yieh Phui) and Synn Industrial Co., Ltd (Yieh Phui/Synn).
Based on a review of the record and comments received from interest parties regarding the preliminary results, the DOC made certain changes to the weighted-average margin calculations. The new margins are: 2.59 percent for Chung Hung Steel Corporation; 2.15 percent for Prosperity Tieh Enterprise Co., Ltd; 2.22 percent for Yieh Phui/Synn; and 4.90 percent for SYSCO.
The product covered by the order includes flat-rolled steel products, either clad, plated, or coated with corrosion-resistant metals such as zinc, aluminum, or zinc-, aluminum-, nickel- or iron-based alloys, whether or not corrugated or painted, varnished, laminated, or coated with plastics or other non-metallic substances in addition to the metallic coating.
