On September 29, 2006, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an antidumping duty administrative review for certain corrosion-resistant carbon steel flat products from France, covering the period August 1, 2005, through July 31, 2006. The review was initiated for Duferco Coating SA and Sorral SA (collectively, Duferco Sorral). Since, US Steel, the party requesting the review, withdrew its request for a review and that it was found that Duferco Sorral had no shipments of the subject merchandise to the US during the period of review, the DOC has decided to rescind the review with respect to the subject merchandise imported from Duferco Sorral.
