The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has released today the preliminary results of an antidumping duty administrative review and a new shipper review on certain steel concrete reinforcing bars imported from Turkey

In May 2006, the DOC initiated an administrative review for Turkish producers Colakoglu Metalurji A.S. and Colakoglu Dis Ticaret A.S. (collectively Colakoglu) and Diler Demir Celik Endustrisi ve Ticaret A.S., Yazici Demir Celik Sanayi ve Turizm Ticaret A.S., and Diler Dis Ticaret A.S. (collectively, Diler), Ekinciler, Habas, and Kaptan and a new shipper review for Kroman for the period covering April 1, 2005 through March 31, 2006.

The DOC has preliminarily determined that certain producers/exporters have made sales below normal values. In addition, the DOC has also determined to revoke the antidumping duty order with respect to Colakoglu and Diler.

Accordingly, the following weighted-average margin percentages exist for the period April 1, 2005, through March 31, 2006:
