US DOC: Preliminary results of new shipper review on SS bar from Germany

On March 7, 2002, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) imposed an antidumping duty order on stainless steel bar imported from Germany. Upon the request of German producer Schmiedewerke Groditz (SWG), which claimed that it did not export the subject merchandise to the US during the period of the investigation - October 1, 1999, through September 30, 2000, the DOC initiated a new shipper review on April 26, 2006 of the antidumping duty order on stainless steel bar from SWG. The review covered the period March 1, 2005, through February 28, 2006. The DOC has preliminarily determined that SWG did not make sales of the subject merchandise at less than normal value in the US during the period of review. Interested parties are required to submit their comments on the preliminary results.
