US DOC: Preliminary results of CVD review on SSSS from S. Korea

On September 28, 2005, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an administrative review of the countervailing duty order on stainless steel sheet and strip in coils from South Korea for the period January 1, 2004, through December 31, 2004. The DOC preliminarily determined that the net subsidy rate for the producer under review is de minimis. Accordingly, the preliminary net subsidy rate for Dai Yang Metal Co Ltd (DMC) is 0.02 percent, which is de minimis. The cash deposit rate, which will remain in effect till the final results of this review are issued, is 1.58 percent.
