On September 28, 2005, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an antidumping duty administrative review on certain corrosion-resistant carbon steel flat products imported from Canada and South Korea. The period of review is August 1, 2004, through July 31, 2005. Accordingly, the DOC preliminarily determined that Canadian producers Dofasco Inc and Sorevco and Do Sol Galva Ltd (collectively Dofasco) and Stelco Inc made sales to the US market at less than normal value. On the side of South Korea, the DOC determined that Dongbu Steel Co Ltd, POSCO Group and Union Steel Manufacturing made sales at less than normal value; however, the DOC determined that Hyundai Hysco did not make any sales of subject merchandise at less than normal value. Accordingly, the following weighted-average dumping margins exist for the period August 1, 2004, through July 31, 2005:

Country/Producer Margin

Dofasco, Sorevco, Do Sol Galva Ltd........4.78%

South Korea
Dongbu....................................1.97%
Hysco.....................................0.03% (de minimis)
The POSCO Group...........................0.48% (de minimis)

The dumping deposit rates, which will remain in effect till the final results are published, are as follows:
