On April 19, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced the final results of the antidumping (AD) duty on certain circular welded non-alloy steel pipe from Mexico.

As a result of its administrative review covering November 1, 2007, to October 31, 2008, in line with its preliminary decision, the US DOC has determined a dumping margin of 48.33 percent for mandatory respondents Ternium Mexico, S.A. de C.V. (Ternium) and Mueller Comercial de Mexico, S. de R.L. (Mueller).

The investigation was rescinded for Tuberia Nacional, S.A. de C.V. (TUNA) given that it made no shipments of subject merchandise during the period of review.

The preliminary results of the review were published on December 7, 2009.

The petitioner in the investigation is United States Steel Corporation.

The merchandise covered by the order and subject to this review is currently classified in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) at subheadings: 7306.30.10.00, 7306.30.50.25, 7306.30.50.32, 7306.30.50.40, 7306.30.50.55, 7306.30.50.85, and 7306.30.50.90.
