US DOC: Final results of CVD review on pipes from Turkey
On April 28, 2006, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an administrative review of the countervailing duty order on certain welded carbon steel standard pipe products from Turkey covering the period from January 1, 2005, through December 31, 2005. In the preliminary results dated November 27, 2006, the DOC calculated a subsidy rate for Borusan, Turkish producer of the subject merchandise, for the period January 1, 2005 through December 31, 2005. The preliminary total net countervailable subsidy rate was 0.23 percent ad valorem, which is de minimis. Upon receiving no comment on the preliminary results, the DOC has decided not to make any revisions to the preliminary results. Accordingly, the final results of this review do not differ from the preliminary results.
