On February 9, 1994, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) imposed an antidumping duty on certain forged stainless steel flanges from India.
Upon a request by the respondents, Kunj Forgings Pvt. Ltd. (Kunj), Micro Forge (India) Ltd. (Micro), Pradeep Metals Limited (Pradeep), and Rollwell Forge, Ltd. (Rollwell), the DOC, on April 6, 2006, initiated new shipper reviews of the antidumping duty order for the period February 1, 2005, through January 31, 2006. However, as previously reported by SteelOrbis, the DOC, on September 29, 2006, rescinded the reviews with respect to Micro, Pradeep, and Rollwell.
In the preliminary results dated January 31, 2007, the DOC determined that Kunj made sales of the subject merchandise at less than normal value in the US during the period of review. Accordingly, a dumping margin of 1.52 percent was set for Kunj.
Upon receiving no comment on the preliminary results, the DOC has decided not to make any changes in them. Accordingly, the final results of this review do not differ from the preliminary results.
