On December 22, 2005, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an antidumping duty administrative review on certain hot rolled carbon steel flat products imported from Romanian producer Mittal Steel Galati. The period of review is November 1, 2004, through October 31, 2005.
In the preliminary results dated October 23, 2006, the DOC determined that sales of the subject merchandise by Mittal Steel Galati were not made below normal value. Accordingly, the weighted-average dumping margin was set as 0.00 percent for Mittal Steel Galati.
Although the DOC has made changes in the margin calculation upon the comments received, this change has not resulted in a change to the final margin for Mittal Steel Galati. Accordingly, the final results of this review do not differ from the preliminary results.
