The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced today that Mexican rebar producer Deacero has not exported rebar into the US below normal value after concluding an antidumping administrative review.

However, the DOC found that Grupo Simec did export rebar into the US below normal value. The weighted-average dumping margin for Deacero was zero percent, according the US government calculations, while all other producers, including Ternium Mexico, ArcelorMittal Mexico, Grupo Villacero and Grupo Simec, had a 3.65 percent dumping margin.

The DOC said US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) “shall assess antidumping duties on all appropriate entries.”

“We intend to issue assessment instructions directly to CBP 15 days after publication of the final results of this review,” the DOC said.
