On Monday, The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced the final results of its administrative review of the countervailing duty (CVD) order on corrosion-resistant carbon steel flat products from Korea.
The review covers one company--Hyundai HYSCO Ltd.--during the period of calendar year 2009. The DOC calculated a final subsidy margin of 0.46 percent for Hyundai HYSCO, which is de minimis.
Accordingly, the CVD deposit rate will remain zero (0.00 percent) for HYSCO. In addition, the DOC will send instructions to US Customs and Border Protection to liquidate entries that were made during the period of review.
There is also an antidumping order on corrosion-resistant carbon steel flat products from Korea, and the current dumping duty deposit rate for HYSCO is also zero (0.00) percent.
