US exports of cold rolled sheets totaled 51,515 mt in June, down 34.2 percent from May but up 15.7 percent from June 2016 levels. By value, CRC exports totaled $55.5 million in June, compared to $86.3 million in the previous month and $45.5 million the same month last year.
The US shipped the most CRC to Mexico in June with 33,234 mt, compared to 27,060 mt in May and 24,661 mt in June 2016. Other top destinations included Canada, with 16,691 mt. There were no other major destinations (over 1,000 mt) for US CRC exports in June.
