According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of cold rolled sheet totaled 43,685 mt in November 2018, down 1.9 percent from October but up 3.8 percent from November 2017 levels. By value, CRC exports totaled $47.8 million in November, compared to $53.9 million in the previous month and $47.3 million the same month last year.
The US shipped the most CRC to Mexico in November with 27,753 mt, compared to 25,908 mt in October and 28,172 mt in November 2017. Other top destinations included Canada, with 13,642 mt. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) for US export CRC in November.
