US CRC exports down 14.7 percent in November

According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of US exports of cold rolled sheets totaled 42,101 mt in November, down 14.7 percent from October and down 11.7 percent from November 2016 levels. By value, CRC exports totaled $47.3 million in November, compared to $52.9 million in the previous month and $49.2 million the same month last year.

The US shipped the most CRC to Mexico in November with 28,172 mt, compared to 32,614 mt in October and 26,015 mt in November 2016. Other top destinations included Canada, with 12,937 mt. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) of US export CRC in November.
