US CRC exports down 1.4 percent in November

According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of cold rolled sheet totaled 36,220 mt in November 2019, down 1.4 percent from October and down 17.1 percent from November 2018 levels. By value, CRC exports totaled $42.4 million in November, compared to $40.8 million in the previous month and $47.8 million the same month last year.

The US shipped the most CRC to Mexico in November with 23,800 mt, compared to 23,760 mt in October and 27,753 mt in November 2018. Other top destinations included Canada, with 10,710 mt. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) for US CRC exports in November.
