Urban registered unemployment rate in China at 5.1 percent in June

The registered unemployment rate in cities and towns in China was at 5.1 percent in June, 0.1 percentage point higher than the 5.0 percent recorded in May, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

Meanwhile, in the first half of the year, 7.37 million new jobs were created in China’s cities and towns, completing 67 percent of the annual target.
