Urban registered unemployment in China stable at five percent in May

The registered unemployment rate in cities and towns in China was 5.0 percent in May, remaining stable compared to the month of April, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

Meanwhile, in the January-May period of the year, 5.97 million new jobs were created in China’s cities and towns, completing 54 percent of the annual target.
