Ural Steel reports return to profit in 2014

Russia-based leading global iron ore and hot briquetted iron (HBI) producer Metalloinvest has announced that the net profit of its integrated iron and steel plant Ural Steel was RUB 4.304 billion ($77.46 million) in 2014 compared to a net loss of RUB 2.9 billion ($52.193 million) in 2013.

In 2014, Ural Steel's sales revenues increased by nine percent year on year to RUB 46.33 billion ($0.834 billion).
